I forgot my password ▾
Use "Forgot Password?" on the login page — a reset link goes to your account email.
I'm logged in but keep getting redirected to a billing page ▾
This means your trial or subscription has lapsed. Pick a plan on that page to restore access immediately — nothing about your data is affected while access is paused.
My kid's PIN isn't working ▾
Kid PINs are set per-child in the Kids section and are separate from your Parent Approvals PIN. Double-check you're not mixing the two up, and reset the kid's PIN from their profile if needed.
Coins & chores
A coin award didn't show up ▾
Check the Audit Log first — every coin movement is logged with a reason and timestamp. If a chore requires parent PIN approval and it wasn't approved yet, the coin won't post until you approve it.
A required task is blocking other coins from being earned ▾
This is the "Required Tasks" gate, which is optional and configurable per kid. Turn it off in that kid's profile if you don't want it, or check Required Tasks per kid to see what's outstanding.
The weekly leaderboard didn't reset ▾
Weekly reset runs automatically every Monday at 6 AM in your family's timezone. If it's Monday and hasn't reset yet, give it a few hours; if it's later in the week and still hasn't reset, contact us.
Technical / app issues
The app looks broken or won't load fully ▾
Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R) — FamCoins is a PWA and your browser sometimes caches an old version. If that doesn't help, try a different browser to isolate whether it's device-specific.
NFC cards aren't scanning ▾

I want to install FamCoins like an app on my phone ▾
On iPhone: open in Safari Share Add to Home Screen. On Android: open in Chrome menu (⋮) Add to Home Screen / Install App.
